So while surfing on the internet and finding nothing to do I have decided to update my journal thus marking the first time when it has not been forced out of me.

Having finished my con season with Otafest Lite I can safely say it was an awesome year. I met a lot of wonderful people this year, and many wonderful memories were had. My only regret is that unfortunately due to financial reasons I was not able to travel up to Edmonton to meet up with my Nakama for Halloween.

For a con planned 2 months or so in advanced, Otafest Lite turned out to be pretty awesome(minus when my sword was taken away). With a semi-winter con what better then to do a winter variation of Paine from Final Fantasy X-2. In my usual procrastinating spirit I started working on my cosplay at 5pm the day before the con. I managed to style my first wig and it didn't turn out half bad. By about 10pm I had managed to finish most of my cosplay and started helping with hers. When I had mentioned to her that morning that and myself were missing a Yuna she jumped at the chance of joining us. So after much work and little sleep we were finally ready for the con.

At the actual con we met up with , and , both of whom are awesome photographers. Not 15 minutes into the con, the sword I was carrying for Paine was confiscated. Eventually I got it back later for a photoshoot that we did outside. After changed into Gokudera, we went off to the food court only to realize we had some how lost our debit cards. There we met up with and some of her friends. At about 3 we had to leave the convention half because needed to head to work and part because my contacts were starting to bother me.

When I arrived at my house I realized that it was the worst possible timing ever as my boyfriends parents had just arrived to drop off our new mega awesome couch that we broke in by falling asleep to Dexter on. As it turned out his mom didn't even recognize me and thought I was actually who she had yet to meet.

And with that the con season comes to an end however my work has only begun. Finances permitting I already have my cosplays for Sakura-con and Otafest completely planned but all I can say is that I'm still debating about whether or not to do Rachel Alucard from BlazeBlue for Otafest and Lady from WitchBlade at Anime Evolution. If anyone has any other ideas as to what you would like to see me do please leave a message I would like to hear any ideas.
